Destinations – Relaunching Into Second Decade
18/09/07
Destinations Magazine – New Zealand’s premier travel magazine since 1996 – relaunches this Spring with a bold new design and format.
The second decade relaunch sees all Destinations Media titles standing 22mm taller, with new contemporary satin gloss paper stock that not only feels and looks great but is easily read in both high and low light intensity.
An even greater emphasis on visual impact introduces stunning pictorial with an editorial layout that is even cleaner and clearer.
Leading the relaunch parade is the Spring edition, on sale early October, featuring a haunting “Lady Mystique” cover, an intriguing invitation to explore Cape Town with Liz Light, an award-winning photo journalist whose work has been a key component of Destinations for almost 10 years.
After a decade of seeking out and discovering unique destinations around the world, it is now Destinations that is being discovered – largely due to its digital distribution through Vancouver-based Newspaper Direct, the world’s most comprehensive source for international newspapers and magazines.
Having visited and reported on more than 120 countries, Destinations has become a valuable travel authority, a travel research resource without equal.
Following the Spring edition onto the world stage will be New Zealand’s winery road guide, Wine Destinations, now into its sixth year of publication.
Wine Destinations establishes wine as the focal point of the perfect holiday around New Zealand, complete with details on winery restaurants, accommodation and wine-associated activities.
Wine Destinations is released every year in time for the summer wine adventure.
