    • Hamilton International Airport is the only airport in the Waikato region. Located 15 minutes' drive from Hamilton city, the airport is serviced by two domestic airlines travelling a number of domestic routes as well as routes to and from Australia.
  • Travel by Train
    • There are no train services to Te Awamutu.
  • Travel by Bus
    • Regular bus services from Hamilton transport passengers to Te Awamutu at various times of the day.
  • Rent a Vehicle
    • There are no rental car options in Te Awamutu. Most visitors will either pick up rental cars from Hamilton, or other major hubs. Several major car rental and motorhome hire companies have depots at either Hamilton Airport or in Hamilton City.
