  • Travel by Plane
    • Tauranga Airport is the region's largest airport. Serviced by Air New Zealand flights daily, the airport connects with most major airports throughout New Zealand. Tauranga Airport is located just 5kms from the central city.
  • Travel by Train
    • There are no train services to Tauranga.
  • Travel by Bus
    • Tauranga is a common destination for inter-city buses as well as tour buses. Tauranga public transport consists of a small bus network. There is also a regional bus service linking Bay of Plenty towns.
  • Rent a Vehicle
    • Several well-known car rental companies and a number of motorhome hire companies have depots in Tauranga - either at the airport or in the central city.
