We aim to offer the best birding and natural history experience in Stewart Island / Rakiura National Park and Ulva Island. Small groups allow for a more personalised experience, guided by friendly, knowledgeable Guides. Our local knowledge extends nearly 18 years. Generous tour times allow for maximum opportunity and enjoyment. In particular we operate by considering our wildlife and environment, voluntarily donating into our conservation fund per person guided.
We specialise in guided walks, overnight treks, birdwatching and kiwi spotting, guided sea kayaking, scenic road tours.
Our custom built boat, Aihe Eco Charters & Water Taxi offers wildlife and scenic cruises, pelagic birdwatching tours, and a water taxi service to destinations including Ulva Island, Freshwater River, Port William, and other destinations.
Our Outdoor Adventure Shop retails and hires outdoor clothing and equipment as well as gifts and souvenirs. We provide a shuttle service to the start of walking tracks.
