Renmore House is an exclusive Bed and Breakfast 3 minutes walk to village centre yet set in a quiet cul de sac.
You can enjoy the peace of country living within 5 minutes walking distance to the Lake, shops, cafes, bars and 20 restaurants.
We have 3 Superking/Twin rooms all with ensuite facilities. All rooms are centrally heated as well as having additional heating if necessary. Each room has Sky T.V. fresh flowers, fine linen and pure NZ wool duvets and electric blankets on the beds.
A full cooked breakfast is available at your convenience. We offer fresh fruit salad or home preserved fruit and cereals with croissants or muffins and home made bread. If you wish there is a choice of cooked options to follow such as a traditional English breakfast, pancakes, vegetable omelets, French toast, scrambled eggs or corn and bacon fritters.
After breakfast you may wish to borrow the bikes and cycle one of the many amazing tracks around Wanaka or borrow the double kayak to explore the lake.
If you are staying more than one night your personal laundry will be done FOC for one night stay laundry is available at a nominal charge.
There is a guest kitchen with fridge, bar fridge, microwave and an outdoor barbeque for guest use for simple meal preparation.
The guest lounge, complete with a small library and children’s games is separate from the hosts.
You may prefer to relax in the garden beside springfed Bullock Creek, where trout come for daily feeding, or, to sit on the decks watching the sunset with a glass of wine, while enjoying the panoramic views after a full day of the numerous activities Lake Wanaka has to offer.
Golfing with spectacular views is within walking distance.
Lake Wanaka boasts world class trout fishing, sailing, kayaking and there are beautiful rivers for jetboating, rafting, canyoning and scenic trips.
There are 3 ski fields within 45 minutes drive from Wanaka that offer snow boarding, cross country, downhill and for the more adventurous, heli skiing on pristine snow in the Harris Mountains.
Following a short drive you have Mt Aspiring National Park to enjoy walking, rock climbing and mountaineering amongst some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.
Alternatively a day can be spent touring the many vineyards in the Central Otago area where our world famous Pinot Noir is made.
Many different scenic flights include Milford Sound, Mt Cook, Mt Aspiring and the Catlins from Wanaka Airport.
Your hosts Blair and Rosie have a vast knowledge of Otago and love to spend time with you to ensure stay in Wanaka is very special. They offer a booking service for all local activities.

Turn left again at next intersection Helwick and Upton Streets. Renmore House is first home on your right. Travelling From Queenstown via Hwy 89 Turn right into Upton street. Renmore house is the 1st house on your right after the 4th intersection on Upton Street
