All the separate, self-contained, secluded cottages are situated near the lake and the shops. Nestled in an English garden setting amidst large old trees - a rarity in Lake Tekapo they offer a secluded retreat. All have a rural and mountain outlook and a degree of privacy not obtainable in a hotel or motel.
The seven cottages are self-contained and sleep 1-8 people. Fully serviced you need nothing except your luggage.
If you are looking for comfortable,cosy, and private, high country accommodation in the green, then you have come to the right place.
The Potting Shed Cottage:
$85 per night for two people. Small studio type cottage, with one double bed, TV, toaster, jug microwave, (no full cooking facilities) and bathroom.
The East Wing Cottage:
Has two bedrooms, one with double bed, one with two single beds. Fully equipped kitchen, lounge with log burner, heatpump/airconditioning, new bathroom and a large sun deck with good mountain views. $140 per night for two people, $20 per extra person. The cottage has a logburner and heatpump to keep is nice and cozy.
The Rowan Cottage:
One double bedroom with double bed, one small bedroom with two single beds and there are also two heated "sleepout" bedrooms attached to the sundeck, one containing a double bed, the other containing two singles. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath, lounge with open fire, plus heatpump. A big solar water heater and electric booster provide stacks of hot water. $130 per night for two people, $20 per extra person.
The Honeymoon Suite:
A new large one bedroom cottage, new bathroom, kitchen, living area and large balcony with good mountain views. Open plan living so although it will sleep 4 it is best suited for 2 persons. The living area also has a pull-out double bed. Unlimited hot water, very good insulation and a heat pump keep keep the ambient temperature nice and warm. (or cool)BBQ availible. $150/2 persons , $20 per extra person.
The Tui Cottage: Studio layout, with double bed, satellite TV, toaster, jug, microwave (no kitchen) and bathroom.There are dishes supplied for takeaways or a light salad type meal. Comfortably furnished the cottage has a heat pump and good insulation to keep that ambient temperature warm. unlimited hot water. Private with own parking.Ideal if you want somewhere to get away fom it all for a couple of days without paying an arm and a leg.. The cottage is stand-alone, has a separate entrance, and parking.The Tariff is $NZ110. 00 per night. Heat pump and air conditioning ensure a comfortable ambient temperature.
The Pines Studio Cottage
The "Pines two bedroom both en suite" are two fully self contained units joined in the middle with a kitchen. The two en suite studios can be rented together, to make a two bedroom unit or separately, with or without the kitchen. Each unit has its own bathroom. This flexibility provides very comfortable accommodation for either small families or individual couples. Good sound insulation and the kitchen between the two units provide for peace and privacy. The kitchen can be rented for either unit because of the lock up arrangements. Furnished to a high standard, well insulated and heated, the two units offer a comfortable stay for one or multiple nights, The tariff varies depending on which configuration one chooses but as a guide the following applies. The Tariff guide below applies for two persons renting one unit.

Pines Twin unit $120/night/two persons (one single and one bunk bed, sleeps up to 3 comfortably) extra person $20

Travelling from Christchurch into Tekapo take the road on your right before the bridge crossing. This road will take you toward the lake and Church of the Good Shepherd (signposted). Take the first turn right into Sealy Street. We are the last house in the street which is a cul de sac. Travelling from Queenstown drive through Tekapo Village and over the bridge then turn into the road directly left. Sealy Street is on the right hand side of the road we are the last house in the street which is a cul de sac.
