The Fairlie Heritage Museum has a large collection of historical itmes connected with the Mackenzie District. Large collection of horse drawn wagons and farm machinery, tractors, vehicles, household items and furnished colonial cottage. Housed in 7 buildings.

Driving south from Fairlie township on Mount Cook Road, the museum is the large brick building with a windmill and is located on the left hand side of the road.
