By car from Auckland head over the Auckland harbour bridge on highway 1 to Whangarei then Kawakawa. At Kawakawa do not turn off but follow highway 11 to the Bay of Islands and Paihia. After passing the Heartlands resort on the right, go up and over over the top of the hill and Sullivans road forks off to the right. Take the second drive on the left and Allure Lodge is located at the end of the drive.
