  • Travel by Plane
    • There are no air services to Mt Maunganui, however Tauranga Airport is the region's largest airport. Serviced by Air NZ flights daily, the airport connects with most major airports throughout NZ. The airport is located 10 minutes away.
  • Travel by Train
    • There are no train services to Mt Maunganui.
  • Travel by Bus
    • Tauranga public transport consists of a small bus network. Known as 'Bay Bus' the yellow buses service 11 routes around the city. Some routes include Mt Maunganui. There is also a regional bus service linking Bay of Plenty towns.
  • Rent a Vehicle
    • Rental vehicles can be picked up from Tauranga. Several well-known car rental companies and a number of motorhome hire companies have depots in Tauranga - either at the airport or in the central city.
