How do you get to Marlborough?

  • Travel by Plane
    • Marlborough Airport is located in Woodbourne just 5km from Blenheim. The airport welcomes up to 16 daily Air New Zealand flights from NZ's 3 main centres. Air2There, a local airline, also flies in & out of Blenheim to Wellington & Paraparaumu daily.
  • Travel by Train
    • Picton is the end point of the popular Pacific Coastal rail journey, which travels from Christchurch and back daily. The train timetable is in sync with the ferry timetable enabling transfers between the two modes of transport.
  • Travel by Bus
    • Picton and Blenheim are both well serviced by regular bus, coach and shuttle services from Christchurch and Nelson. There are also several local tour services that offer transport around the Marlborough region.
  • Rent a Vehicle
    • A number of well-known car rental companies have outlets at Blenheim Airport. Most car and motorhome rental companies are also accessible from Picton's ferry terminal.
