How do you get to Gore?

  • Travel by Plane
    • There are no air services to Gore. Invercargill Airport, which offers a range of domestic flight options, is located around an hour’s drive away from Gore.
  • Travel by Train
    • There are no train services to Gore.
  • Travel by Bus
    • Gore is serviced by numerous national tour bus networks, backpacker buses and regional shuttle buses. Bus connections join Gore with Invercargill, Dunedin, Queenstown and Christchurch on a regular basis.
  • Rent a Vehicle
    • There are no rental car options available in Gore. There are a small number of car rental outlets at Invercargill or Dunedin Airports. Alternatively, Invercargill city offers a selection of car rental outlets.
