How do you get to East Cape?

    • There are no air services to the East Cape. Eastland's main passenger airport in Gisborne, which is located two hours’ drive away from the East Cape.
  • Travel by Train
    • There are no train services to the East Cape.
  • Travel by Bus
    • Eastland's rural and coastal townships do not have a public transport system. Various coach tours operate throughout Eastland and may include the East Cape on their itinerary.
  • Rent a Vehicle
    • Several local taxi and shuttle companies operate from Gisborne Airport, around two hours’ drive away. Three car rental companies also have depots at the airport.
