How do you get to Cromwell?

  • Travel by Plane
    • There is no commercial air access to Cromwell. However, as well as nearby Queenstown Airport, Cromwell is in driving distance to Wanaka Airport (with regular domestic flights from Christchurch), and Dunedin International Airport.
  • Travel by Train
    • There is no train service to Cromwell.
  • Travel by Bus
    • Many major public bus, tour bus and shuttle networks offer a service to Cromwell from most South island destinations.
  • Rent a Vehicle
    • There are no rental options available in Cromwell. A selection of car and motorhome rental outlets operate in Otago's main towns and cities. Dunedin and Queenstown offer the widest selection in the area.
