Auckland Airport
Auckland Airport is New Zealand's largest airport and a hub for many international flights.
Auckland Airport Location
The airport is located 40 minutes by car or bus from Central Auckland. During morning and evening rush-hours allow around one hour by car.
Transport to & from Auckland Airport
An Airbus operates between the airport and city, running every 15 minutes during the day, and every 30 minutes in the evening. This costs $16 (one way) or $26 return, with concessions available for children and families.
Shuttle buses are available from the shuttle bus stand, located through door 11 in the arrivals area of the international terminal. Shuttles also leave from outside the domestic terminals. Fares into Auckland city vary widely depending on the destination, number of people and shuttle company.
Taxis leave the airport from outside all terminals. The approximate taxi fare from Auckland airport to Auckland central city is $60 - $80.
Rental car company stands are located inside the terminals.

The International Terminal is located a short 5 minute walk from the Domestic Terminals. Follow the painted arrows by foot, or catch the free inter-terminal bus.
