How do you get to Greytown?

  • Travel by Plane
    • There are no direct flights to Greytown. A regular Air New Zealand direct flight between Masterton and Auckland brings visitors into the region. Masterton Airport is located about 20 minutes’ drive away from Greytown.
  • Travel by Train
    • Greytown is serviced daily by TranzMetro - the public train service based in Wellington. The Wairarapa Connection train stops there at various times of the day.
  • Travel by Bus
    • Greytown is connected to Palmerston North and other major NI tows via the InterCity bus network. Local tour bus operators service the region, providing passenger transport and wine tours. Wellington's public bus system also reaches Greytown.
  • Rent a Vehicle
    • Masterton offers a limited number of car rental companies, based in town.
